HKMLA Lecture Series - 'How to be an arbitrator : a personal view'

The HKMLA is pleased to announce a new series of lectures to be delivered by the Chairman of the Association, Mr Justice Reyes, following on from the success of his previous lecture series.

Once again, the series is being jointly organised by the HKMLA and the Faculty of Law at the University of Hong Kong, and will be open to members and non-members alike on a first-come, first-served basis.

The first 4 lectures will be held on Saturday mornings from 4 February to 3 March (with no lecture on 25 February) and the final lecture will be held on the evening of Friday 9 March. The venue for all the lectures will be the Jurors' Assembly Room at the High Court. An application is being made to the Law Society of Hong Kong to accredit each lecture with 2 CPD points.

The attendance fee for each lecture is HK$100 for members of the HKMLA and HK$200 for non-members. However, as a concession, individual membership of the HKMLA for 2011/12 together with attendance at the full lecture series may be purchased for HK$800. In addition, student membership of the HKMLA for 2011/12 and attendance at the full lecture series is available for only HK$500.
